Class of 2026: A-Level Success That Opens Doors to the World

The Class of 2026 has

as demonstrated exactly this,

achieving a strong set of A-Level outcomes

 and securing an impressive

range of university offers across

the UK, US, Hong Kong, Australia and beyond.

The Class of 2026 achieved 39% of grades at A*-A, with 70% at A*-B and 91% at A*-C. 

Particularly encouraging is the breadth of achievement across the cohort: 34% of students achieved A*-B grades in all their A-Level subjects, while 53% achieved A*-C across all their subjects. Three students achieved A*-A grades in every subject they took.

The cohort also delivered exceptional results in a number of individual subjects. 100% of students achieved A*-B in Art and History, while 100% achieved an A in English Literature and 100% achieved A*-A in Chinese.

History stands out as a particularly strong example of the impact of dedicated teaching and student commitment, with 83% of students achieving A*-A, representing a significant year-on-year improvement. English Literature also achieved an outstanding 100% A*-A.

These results demonstrate the breadth of academic opportunity at Harrow Shenzhen, where students are encouraged to pursue subjects across the sciences, humanities, creative arts, languages and social sciences, supported by expert teaching and a culture of high expectations.

These qualities are reflected in the university destinations secured by the cohort.

The Class of 2026  received more than 200 university offers, averaging around SEVEN offers per student.

• Among these are 113 offers from QS World Top 100 universities.

• 50 offers from the UK’s Top 10 universities.

• 24 offers from US News Top 50 institutions.

• 32 offers from leading universities in Hong Kong and Australia.

The achievements of the Class of 2026 provide an inspiring foundation for the next cohort.

The Class of 2027 has already made an encouraging start. In their AS examinations, 60% of grades were at A, with 77% achieving A-B and 88% achieving A-C.

Notably,23 students—39% of the cohort—achieved A grades across all their AS subjects, while a further 12 students—bringing the proportion achieving A-B across all subjects to 59%—achieved A-B in every subject.
