We recently had the pleasure of speaking with William, a father whose daughter Precious is currently in Year 7. With a professional life that requires him to travel between countries and cities, William has made thoughtful choices about his daughter’s education. My daughter studied in Singapore before, and due to my work, we’ve moved around quite a bit. Now that we’re in Shenzhen, Harrow just makes sense—both in location and philosophy—for our whole family.

“These subjects were difficult for her, no question,” he says. “She started with grades like D or E. But with the support of her teachers and the school platform, she’s now achieving Bs and As. The improvement is steady, and more importantly, her confidence is growing.“
He adds, “There’s a belief that international schools only focus on top students, but that hasn’t been our experience. At Harrow, they support every child—especially those who need it most. That, to me, is real education.“
For William, the most meaningful transformation has been his daughter’s emotional growth.
